Over the past 30 years or so I have worked in the arts, culture, and academic sectors with different institutions and companies in a variety of roles. This has included research supervision, with completions in practice-led or practice-based PhD projects; experience in leading creative writing workshops, designing writing exercises, offering feedback on work in progress, and giving advice for publication; organising exhibitions and producing small festivals, supporting the development of live and text works, teaching performance and art and leading workshops for professional artists.
I have experience of board, trustee, and directorship in the culture and social enterprise sector, have helped organise symposia, conference panels, and other events, have worked on successful project proposals and funding bids in arts, heritage, and research areas. I’m active in peer networks supporting artists’ activity in my region, am a co-director of CAMP , am a member of Soundart Radio, am co-chair of the board of Take A Part, and was a founding director of art.earth. I am available to work with individuals and groups in a consultant, advice, or mentoring capacity.
